Ron Paul asks why Obama’s children aren’t vaccinated

Despite declaring national emergency in response to H1N1 outbreak, President refuses to allow his own children to be inoculated with controversial shot

Congressman Ron Paul has questioned why, despite his efforts to encourage the general public to get vaccinated against the H1N1 virus, President Barack Obama has refused to allow his own daughters to take the swine flu shot.

Despite the fact that Obama on Friday declared a national emergency in response to the H1N1 outbreak, he apparently doesn’t deem it enough of a threat to have his two daughters vaccinated against the virus.

Such double standards have led media pundits to call for Obama to get his daughters vaccinated on live television, in an effort to encourage American parents to do the same for their kids. The swine flu vaccination program, which was initially intended to be a “mass” inoculation covering the entire population, has been rejected by a majority of Americans who harbor deep suspicions about dangerous additives contained in the vaccine such as mercury and squalene.

In a Campaign For Liberty video message, former Presidential candidate Ron Paul labeled the vaccination program a “failure,” and slammed Obama for failing to follow the same advice he gave to the nation.

“It’s interesting to note that the President’s children have not gotten their shots and the explanation for this is it hasn’t been available to them – now that’s a little bit hard to buy when you think that probably anything the President wants can be available for their children,” said Paul, adding, “So in a way he’s made his decision not to give his children these inoculations – so if he has freedom of choice on this, I would like to make sure that all the American people have the same amount of freedom of choice.”

Ron Paul pretty much sums up what I would have to say.

Frank: Democrats want to “increase the role of government”

Barney Frank says the Democrats are “trying on every front to increase the role of government in the regulatory area.”

Think about this. In extreme cases, China regulates how many children you can have and Cuba regulates travel. What will America regulate?

But Frank also says the Republicans messed everything up. However, I don’t buy into the two party system. Both parties are incompetent and corrupt. Both are filled with so-called “career politicians” that have been involved in politics their whole life and therefore don’t know how the economy functions in reality, not just on paper.

The regulations are what got us into this mess. If we had let the free market work itself, we would have been in great shape. But instead we regulate anything and everything.

Man Arrested For Indecent Exposure – In His Own Home

Eric Williamson was alone in his house at 5:30, and got up, naked, to make coffee. A neighbor called the police, and shortly after, he was arrested. Read the full article here.

He was in his own home. He should be able to wear whatever he wants on his property. Should it be illegal for being naked in your house?

In fact, if you watch the video, he was spotted by a woman and a 7 year old boy cutting through his front yard. Trespassing. And yet, do they face charges? No.

In an update on the story, they note he may have been seen naked in his house before. And so they are asking anyone who may have seen him naked to come forward.

This is such a waste of time and money, especially since he was in his own home.

2.7 Million Job Losses after Stimulus Bill

Do you remember the stimulus bill that was supposed to create jobs and help the economy recover? It predicted 3.5 million jobs would be created.

In fact, however 49 states have lost jobs since the bill, for a grand total of 2.7 million jobs lost. On the bright side, North Dakota gained 1,800 jobs. This makes a difference of 6.2 million jobs between what was predicted and what was lost. See for yourself here.

Peter Schiff, an economist now running for Senate, had predicted that the stimulus bill would not just fail, but dig a deeper hole. He made this prediction earlier this year.

However, we keep hearing that the economy is improving. In fact, as of now, an American Research Group survey shows that 31% of Americans think the economy is getting better and 48% say it will be better a year from now.

But the truth is that the economy is in fact going downhill, no matter what we hear on the news. We can’t keep spending like we are and expect this crisis to just disappear. And with a national debt of almost 12 trillion dollars, we are not even close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We won’t be out of this crisis in a year. I doubt we will be out of the crisis by the time we elect a new president. We may never get out of this crisis.

The Swine Flu Hoax

An article recently appeared in Reuters news wire claiming that 10% of New Yorkers (800,000) may have contracted the Swine Flu. It was even featured on Drudge Report on Monday, Aug 31, 2009.

http://www.reuters.com/ar…

Just by analyzing this single article, you can see what a non-issue the Swine Flu really is. Let’s go over it….

Note: In BOLD text is parts of the article and unbold is my analysis.

“In New York City where we had a lot of H1N1 this last spring the estimate is about 800,000 people, about 10 percent of New York City residents, got infected with the flu,” Frieden said in an interview with C-SPAN television aired on Sunday.

I couldn’t find out for New York specifically how many have died… but As of Aug 5th, 2009 only 1100 People have died GLOBALLY from this Flu. Based on 6.7 Billion People on Earth, so far you have a 0.000016% chance of dying from the Swine Flu. This doesn’t even factor that the US has far superior medicine than third world countries.

Swine flu has infected well over 1 million people in the United States, and is now the CDC’s No. 1 priority.

According to the US Census website, there is 307,326,245 people living in the US. This means that approximately 0.33% of the US Population has contracted the swine flu. (yes, one-third of 1% have contracted it, very few have died.).

“Every year, seasonal flu infects between 5 percent and 20 percent of a given population”

Taking the article’s own statistics, the Swine Flu has been pretty in-effective in spreading vs. a typical flu. Even at the low-end, the Swine Flu is 15 to 60 times less infectious than a typical seasonal flu.

(Every year, the seasonal flu) kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people globally

If the normal flu kills typically 250,000 to 500,000 globally, and the swine flu has killed 1,100. That means that the Swine Flu is AT LEAST 200 TIMES LESS DEADLY than typical SEASONAL FLU. Even if 5 times that many will die by the end of the year, the number is much smaller than typical seasonal flu.

It also disproportionately affects younger people, unlike seasonal flu which mainly burdens the elderly, and as a result may cause more severe illness and deaths among young adults and children than seasonal flu.

This statement isn’t backed up by any numbers or facts. It is very generalized. My best guess is to get people who don’t normally don’t get shots to get them. e.g. Sell more shots!

Chicago health authorities said last week that the pandemic H1N1 flu infected 14 times as many children as adults over 60 there, and also disproportionately affected blacks and Hispanics.

It is well-known that minorities have lower quality of care and are more likely to get sick. Children always contract flu at higher rates because they are in school interacting with other kids and their parents send them to school sick. The article fails to mention what the typical rate is for regular seasonal flu. Notice how the article says “pandemic” but how is this a pandemic when it is 200 times less deadly so far?

Some countries are reporting that as many as 15 percent of patients hospitalized with the new H1N1 pandemic virus have needed intensive care, further straining already overburdened healthcare systems, WHO said on Friday.

The article only says “Some countries” and doesn’t list which ones. Are they 3rd world nations with limited health care? Plus the article fails to mention what the typical rate of those hospitalized need intensive care with typical flu. It could easily be higher or lower.

Overall Analysis:

Based on the above analysis of the Swine Flu, it is a complete dud and most people shouldn’t even worry about it. Wash your hands and go on with your day. There is little reason to panic over this flu. Based on the 1,100 people that have died with the Swine Flu, it seems much less likely you are gonna die from it than from the regular flu or from really anything else for that matter.

What is the motive of the fear? It was recently revealed that the a company already had a patent for the Swine Flu vaccine nearly 2 years ago. Are they spreading the panic to sell more vaccines? It sure would be a good way to increase your bottom line in a recession.

** Please forward this to your friends, local congressmen, governors and other officials. **
