Navy Seals in Katrina, Fox told not to report

This is a video giving credit to the Navy SEALs for helping in the pirate situation. At the end , Greta Van Susteren ‘slips up’ and says:

You know, I love to see them get the credit for this because so much of what they do, we never get to hear about because it’s done secretly. They were even at Katrina. Down in New Orleans, we saw them moving around in boats, and we weren’t supposed to mention them at the time because they were Navy SEALs. But the — I mean, the operation, the training and what they accomplished is nothing short of amazing.

Not supposed to mention them at the time?

Here is the video:

Why is this significant?

Firstly, because this is a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, which states that the US military is not supposed to perform any function in the US unless authorized be the Constitution or Congress. This explains a little more about that.

Secondly, because if this is true, it means that news stations are taking orders from someone on what to report.
